A place where history rules a city breathes its Magic All Over Mysore the city of joy and culture, it is a place worth seeing and the students of Sneha Jyothi Vidyalaya had an opportunity to visit the Mysore city, Srirangapatna, Shravanabelagola and Belur halebidu. The journey started at 7:00 p.m. from Pothnal on 28 December 2018 ,and reached Mysore by 7:30 a.m. on 29th December 2018. The first place visited was the Chamundi Hills and then the beautiful Mysore Palace belonging to the Wodeyar dynasty students were astonished by sparkling beauty and flower show mesmerized one and all. The next place what happened was Sri chamarajendra zoological Gardens, the students were delighted to see the amazing wild animals, students captured many pictures, soon after the zoo the Brindavan Gardens was visited which had wide Open Spaces and colourful fountains. The next place was the Saint Philomena Church which was visited at 8:00 a.m. on 30th December 2018 the huge Cathedral grabbed the attention of students, next up was the sukhavana Ashram which had colourful and gorgeous birds showcased, another place which astonished everyone was the Tipu Sultans summer palace in Srirangapatna and the Gumbaz the Tomb of Tipu Sultan was also an attraction ,next was the Sri Ranganathaswamy temple where students captured lots of pictures. The last place visited was the replica of Gomateshwara in Shravanabelagola , the climb was moderate and took about of an half an hour, the worship was done on the same replica of the main statue. students reached back to the parking ground around 6:30 p.m. and continued the street shopping ,the departure journey started at 9:00 p.m. after dinner and reached Pothnal the next morning sharp at 7 a.m. The whole trip was a memorable one and students had lots of fun all through the way.
